MUNICIPAL DEADLINES:                            

Resolution from Municipality (Not less than 120 days)  -    By Monday, July  5th  

Petitions  Permitted for Municipal Elections            -    Friday, May  21st

Qualifying  Deadline  (Municipal Elections)             -    Thursday, August 19th, 12 Noon

Withdrawal  Deadline  (Municipal Elections)           -    Thursday, August 26th, 12 Noon



ALL  NOVEMBER  2ND   ELECTIONS:

Deadline to Register to Vote -In Office – Monday, October 4th    
                             
By-Mails must be postmarked by October 4th
Forms deposited after the last pickup time posted on the mail box will not be postmarked until Tuesday, which will be after the deadline.   


Absentee Voting by Mail  - Wed., August  4th - Tuesday, October  26th
1.  Last day to accept a written request for an Absentee Ballot Application
2.  Last day to process an Application for Absentee Ballot including the Physician’s Statement
3.  Last day to receive an Application for Absentee Ballot from voter or temporary registration        

                    
Absentee Voting by Mail  (Military or Overseas Persons)     -    January 1, 2010 – October 26th
                (May request to vote in succeeding general elections with request for August Election)


Early Voting - Wed., October 13th - Thursday, October 28th         (Hours to be determined)



REMINDER: Above deadlines are based on laws in effect as of  January 1, 2009.   Changes are always possible.
